Financial system reboot

Ripple02

Long predicted the financial system as we know it, is in for major change. The result of the Greek vote, a resounding `No’ to the conditions imposed by the IMF, spells the end of the financial system as we know it. After all currency is only a symbol, a piece of paper that is not backed by gold is only a piece of paper. The real wealth is in the value of the people and their ability to trade. We don’t need the banks for that. Alternative systems are in place and will develop now, so stay calm and stand back and observe.

Some info from Community Exchange systems on banking and why we need to develop alternatives. This is a power point presentation.

Q. What is the CES?

The CES is essentially an exchange system. It allows us to exchange our narrow specialisations for the narrow specialisations of others. The regular money system, of which we are so familiar, is another exchange system. Throughout history there have been many different exchange systems. All of them assist us to overcome the inconveniences of direct barter. While the monetary exchange system uses a value representation to mediate exchanges, the CES has no such medium. Instead it uses information as the organising principle. Value is transferred from sellers to buyers and a record is kept of it. These records ensure that buyers ‘pay’ for what they have received by doing or selling something for/to someone else. This works just as well as money but sets up a completely different relationship between people. In the monetary exchange system production is geared towards maximising the amount of the exchange medium that can be obtained, whereas in the CES production is geared towards the satisfaction of needs. This imparts a completely different logic in our relationships with each other.

This link is on the different systems of alternaive trading already in place. I was surprised how long this list is. I have written about Bitcoin and Ripple before, its another system of exchange. geared to business needs.

https://www.communityexchange.net.au/info/links.html

Q. How can I begin trading without any money in my account?

A. The CES does not require that you have anything in your account to begin trading. As ‘money’ in this system is just a book entry or ‘point scoring’, there is no need for a supply of it. You begin either by going into debit (not debt). This means your account has a negative balance but unlike with conventional money you do not have to pay interest on it and there is no stigma attached to it (unless it gets large and is never reduced). Your debit simply means that you owe the community goods and services to the value of the debit.

Although the CES is internet-based it also works for those who do not have computers. Each user gets an account number and a password, and this gives them access to their account on the CES web site. The site works like a true on-line banking service. Participants can view their current balances and obtain statements of account. They can also keep track of the trading position of others.

Goods and services are advertised on the web site through an ‘Offerings List’. Participants look through this list, or do a search, and if they find anything they want they contact the seller who then provides the goods or service. Payment is effected through a Trading Slip which serves both as a means of payment and a receipt for the goods or service. The information on the Trading Slip is entered by the seller into a transacation form on the web site. This credits the account of the seller and debits that of the buyer. Accounts record these debits and credits, giving a balance after each transaction.

Those without computers can interface with the system through ‘branches’ where everything is done manually and information is available on paper.

This link explains why you should pay off your debts before the Financial System reset. Basically because the new system will put you into further debt.

Imagine, for a moment, that Greece had never adopted the euro, that it had merely fixed the value of the drachma in terms of euros. What would basic economic analysis say it should do now? The answer, overwhelmingly, would be that it should devalue — let the drachma’s value drop, both to encourage exports and to break out of the cycle of deflation.

Of course, Greece no longer has its own currency, and many analysts used to claim that adopting the euro was an irreversible move — after all, any hint of euro exit would set off devastating bank runs and a financial crisis. But at this point that financial crisis has already happened, so that the biggest costs of euro exit have been paid. Why, then, not go for the benefits?

Would Greek exit from the euro work as well as Iceland’s highly successful devaluation in 2008-09, or Argentina’s abandonment of its one-peso-one-dollar policy in 2001-02? Maybe not — but consider the alternatives. Unless Greece receives really major debt relief, and possibly even then, leaving the euro offers the only plausible escape route from its endless economic nightmare.

And let’s be clear: if Greece ends up leaving the euro, it won’t mean that the Greeks are bad Europeans. Greece’s debt problem reflected irresponsible lending as well as irresponsible borrowing, and in any case the Greeks have paid for their government’s sins many times over. If they can’t make a go of Europe’s common currency, it’s because that common currency offers no respite for countries in trouble. The important thing now is to do whatever it takes to end the bleeding.

Radiation Reduction

Goswimming01

Citrus pectin or apple pectin. In supplement form, these have been shown to bind to and remove radioactive materials such as Cesium-137 from the body.

Spirulina and chlorella have both been shown to reduce significantly or even remove radioactive materials in people who were contaminated by the Chernobyl fallout. However, this blue-green algae superfood should probably not be sourced from Japan or nearby waters. (Try spirulina here and chlorella here.)

Seaweeds (and green and black teas for that matter) have been shown to neutralize radioactive isotopes in the body, and contain a high amount of protective natural iodine that would definitely protect the thyroid. Many people are claiming that dulse from Ireland is the safest. The jury is still out on California coastal seaweed, with some people even buying Geiger counters to test everything they consume. Geiger counters are rather blunt tools though, and do not tell you the type of isotope involved. I personally would not eat seaweed from the west coast of North America or Japan, but that’s an individual decision. (Try dulse here.)

Foods high in carotenes, (vitamin C and E), are natural protectors against radiation induced carcinogenesis. This includes carrots, sweet potatoes, beets, winter squash, kale, collard greens, chard and spinach. (Beta-carotene, however, may actually promote cancer.)

The entire cabbage family is high in caffeic acid, which may protect peripheral blood lymphocytes against gamma radiation induced cellular damage. This would include broccoli, cauliflower, arugula, bok choy, radishes, mustard greens and the like.

Herbs high in selenium may protect against DNA damage. These include: nettles, burdock root, catnip and ginseng.

Members of the legume family, especially: lentils, astragalus and red clover, may assist with DNA repair.

Miso soup has been shown to be very protective as it contains dipicolinic acid and may discharge radiation from the body. Rosemary, as well, helps rid the brain of free radicals.

Reishi mushrooms, known in traditional Chinese Medicine as Ling Zhi, have also been noted to increase the white blood cells and increase the overall immune protection of the body, even combating cancer. (Studies on reishi and cancer are varied.) The recommended method is slicing the dried mushroom and simmering for three hours, drinking the concentrated tea.

Cilantro removes heavy metals from the body (especially when combined with chlorella), and milk thistle is another herb that supports the liver in removing toxins. Bentonite clay has been touted as doing the same through binding and removing the foreign substances.

So despite radiation worries, there are some things you can load up on to lessen your toxic intake. In the meantime, coconut water is high in potassium, and can make you a lot more relaxed while waiting for the next shoe to drop. Peace.

For my  own health regime I have been taking radiation reduction baths and swimming in sea water daily. The baths consist of 1 cup each of salt, bicarb soda, Epson salts and are of cool water, soak for 20 mins, at least once a week.  I have also been taking Miso soup daily I’ve stopped using the microwave and cut down use of computers and TV. I’ve also been eating chia every day and adding Omega 3s to my  diet.

I’m also taking  the Recommended Amino Acids avoiding the foods recommended, and supplementing the antioxidants and vitamins recommended. I’ve also been having acupuncture regularly. I take the 24 sea minerals daily. in water

I won’t know if all this is working until I have another Hair profile in 90 days when I’ll certainly report it. I feel healthier though. I think cutting out wheat has helped. Now that I’m home it will be easier to follow the health regime I’ve set myself. We’ll see.

Since I wrote this blog Lauren Moret has put out a video on what to do to reduce radiation levels, so I include it here. She advocates rubbing Povidone 10% iodine on the skin(of the belly fat). The video is rather long and its at 1hr 48min. About 1/2 way she mentions a book on free radicals  which has gone to 4th edition  which sounds interesting.

The way to establish if you have been exposed to Depleted Uranium  or air pollution from nuclear testing or other environmental contaminants is to have a hair test. It is not shown up in blood tests, So there is a company that does hair tests and will send out a kit. It costs about $100, from Paradise Nutrients. Its called BioTest Broad Spectrum Hair Analysis. Your test is performed by German technology  and diagnosed by a German doctor via the internet in just a few minutes. Its founded on naturopathic principles. This is not a laboratory medical test that gives absolute values but is a guide to environmental influences in a person’s information field.

You can use this information to  make changes to environment, diet and exercise and reassess after a period of time, like 90 days and see if the changes are working.

You can also use proven dietary items to help reduce your sugar levels:

Blueberries

Chia seeds

Guava

Coconut

Bitter Melon

For high uranium MagnaClear is a fantastic Paradise Nutrients mineral product that has a powerful yet unique characteristic where it helps to clean up your water and at the same time delivers a wealth of essential minerals and oxygen.
Paradise Nutrients uses one of natures most powerful forces: Magnetism.
Paradise Nutrients uses Black Mica and Magnetic Sulphate Minerals to capture this powerful force by attracting contaminants and clumping them into larger sized particles. These clumps are heavier than water and therefore, become sediment. Before your eyes, you will see dissolved, invisible contaminants become insoluble and visible! With this ability, even muddy water can now be made clear.
The black Mica in MagnaClear comes from Japan in a specially prepared solution and is manufactured into MagnaClear by Paradise Nutrients. A shiny black mineral, black mica is a common mineral found in granite and other metamorphic rocks. Also known as biotite, black mica is composed of iron, magnesium, aluminium, silicon, oxygen and hydrogen. It has a flaky consistency. When used in an extract form, black mica has many positive uses for overall health. Nevertheless, obtain the advise of your physician before taking black mica extract.

Chinese herbal medicine and diabetes

The typical symptoms of Type 1 diabetes (insulin dependent) include: Increased thirst Dry mouth, Frequent urination, Unexplained weight loss (even though you are eating and feel hungry), Fatigue (weak, tired feeling) Blurred vision, Numbness or tingling of the hands or feet, Loss of consciousness (rare)

Symptoms of Type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent) include: The same as those listed above, Slow-healing sores or cuts,  Itching skin (especially the groin or vaginal area), Yeast infections, Recent weight gain.

Recent studies show the following are effective in treating diabetes, by stimulating the insulin producing beta cells.

Arginine: a 2007 study found that the amino acid L-arginine is capable of stimulating the genesis of beta cells in an animal model of alloxan-induced diabetes.[2]

Avocado: A 2007 study found that avocado seed extract reduced blood sugar in diabetic rats. Researchers observed a restorative and protective effect on pancreatic islet cells in the treated group.[3]

Berberine: A 2009 study found that this plant compound, commonly found in herbs such as barberry and goldenseal, induces beta cell regeneration in diabetic rats, which lends explanation for why it has been used for 1400 years in China to treat diabetes.[4]

Chard: A 2000 study found that chard extract given to diabetic rats stimulates the recovery of injured beta cells.[5]

Corn Silk: A 2009 study found that corn silk reduces blood sugar and stimulates beta cell regeneration in type 1 diabetic rats.[6]

Curcumin (from Turmeric): A 2010 study found that curcumin stimulates beta cell regeneration in type 1 diabetic rats.[7] Additionally, a 2008 study found that curcumin preserves pancreatic islet cell survival and transplantation efficiency.[8]

Genistein (from soy, red clover): A 2010 study found that genistein induces pancreatic beta-cell proliferation through activation of multiple signaling pathways and prevents insulin-deficient diabetes in mice.[9]

Honey: A 2010 human study found that long-term consumption of honey might have positive effects on the metabolic derangements of type 1 diabetes, including possible beta cell regeneration as indicating by increases in fasting C-peptide levels.[10]

Nigella Sativa (black seed): A 2003 animal study found that black seed consumption lead to partial regeneration/proliferation of the beta-cells.[11] A 2010 human study also found that the consumption of one gram of black seed a day for up to 12 weeks had a broad range of beneficial effects in diabetics, including increasing beta cell function.[12]

Stevia: A 2011 human study found that stevia has anti-diabetic properties, including revitalizing damaged beta cells, and compares favorably with the drug glibenclamide but without the adverse effects.[13]

Traditional Chinese Medicine considers the causes of diabetes as imbalance in one of these meridians: Triple burner, Liver or Spleen. The treatment depends on which diagnosis is made. Traditional Chinese remedies can be used, in tandem with insulin, to treat the pancreas and other damaged internal organ functions gradually, control blood sugar, and reduce insulin dosage over time. This treatment aims to slowly reduce insulin intake while recovering the pancreatic functions until eventually insulin usage can be stopped completely. Thompson’s NZ offer a Glucose Manager which contains many effaceous herbs such as Gymnema, Ginko, Bilberry and others.

One prescription herbal formula includes Chinese mai men dong / ophipogonon, Jie Geng / Platycodon, and Wu WeiZi/Schisandra. This works to bring the Qi up into the lung, making it stronger and using the pulmonary energy to feed the entire body. The resulting increased abundance of Qi in the lung can promote the oxidation and utilization of sugar. Another prescription formula that includes, but is not limited to Diascoria/ Shan Yao, HuangQi/Astragalus, Fu Ling/ Poria, and Cang Zhu/Atractylodes, helps the body’s Qi nourish the spleen and pancreas. With adequate blood supply and vigorous circulation, beta cells can be repaired and pancreatic function restored.

Research studies have shown that this prescription formula can lower blood sugar in various degrees, and Huang Qi can inhibit gluconeogenesis (abnormal glucose formation). The function of Chinese Yam and Gou Qi Zi/Lycium in the prescription formula is to strengthen the kidney and nourish the liver. Since the kidney controls the fluid in the entire body, it is the master organ for fluid metabolism. Also, the kidney plays a leading role in the cause and development of diabetes. Modern medicine believes that the state of the spleen and kidney has a direct effect on metabolic and immune functions. Recent studies have shown that Chinese Yam, formulated with various other Chinese herbs, can fight against rising blood sugar caused by the adrenal gland. The prescription formula of Dan Shen / Salvia, San Leng/S.fluviatilis, E Zhu/ Curcuma, and Cang Zhu/Atracylodes relieves blood stasis (stagnation), promotes circulation, cleanses the pancreas and the surrounding congestion, and clears the channels of nutrient transport.

This contributes tremendously to the nourishment of the pancreas and cell repair. In diabetic pathology, metabolic disorders cause a deposit of pathogens that block the body’s flow of Qi. This results in poor Qi and blood flow, causing an obstruction in the back ribs. As a result, the pancreas and other organs lose nutrition and the disease worsens, leading to other related diseases and complications. (Western medicine has confirmed that in a Type 1 diabetic pancreas, there is a lot of blood stasis (stagnation).) –

Acupuncture and acupressure or Shiatsu

Chinese medicine is more than 2000 years old. Based on ancient tradition, it has continually renewed itself. The oldest text is Nei Jing, compiled between 300BC and 100 BC by unknown authors, is known as the Bible on Chinese Medicine. Written in archaic language, it is often unclear.  Without the commentaries of later eras, it would be unintelligible. Contemporary interpretations and clarifications, based on Qing dynasty (1644-1911) texts are used today. Out of a complex medical system, only the bare essentials of acupuncture technique have reached the West. Still it remains strong and effective medicine.

The concept of Yin and Yang remains central to Chinese thought. In each person are signs which represent health when balanced, and the physicians job is to restore balance. Meridians are channels or pathways that carry chi and blood through the body. Because the meridian system unifies all parts of the body, it is essential for the maintenance of harmonious balance.

There are 14 major meridians which correspond to the 5 Yin and 6 Yang Organs and to the Pericardium which is considered an independent organ. Disharmonies in an organ may manifest themselves in the corresponding meridian. The goal of all treatment in Chinese medicine  is to rebalance those aspects of Yin and Yang whose harmonious proportion and movement have become disordered.

Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese technique, thousands of years old, involving finger pressure applied to the feet and palms of the hands to bring the vital chi energy into harmony. This ancient therapy might help to prevent illnesses and to relieve pains. It can be done as a do-it-yourself technique, or by a professional shiatsu therapist.

  • In shiatsu, presure is applied on some of the body’s 354 acupressure points for short periods, as a treatment working on the meridians of the body to put our chi or life energy into balance. The technique is based on the principle that physical and mental health are related to the energy that flows through channels or “meridians” along the body, connecting the internal organs to our emotions. Acupressure points are located along these channels. The pressure applied can give effective relief to backaches caused by tension and muscular cramps. As with any other medicine or remedy, especially if you have chronic or intense pains, you should consult a physician to find out if these alternatives are right for you.

The latest research on Meridians is that they carry light within the body and with the new energies coming in as light information, they can be seen as out connection to the universe.

“Bonghan channels are also being compared to fiber-optic channels in the body. These channels may be able to carry an extremely high density of information far beyond the limited, one-way signals of the nervous system or the diffusive information carried by hormones in the blood stream. A 2004 paper describes how biophotons, produced by animal tissues, may be emitted by DNA molecules to produce a laser-like coherent light capable of carrying an enormous volume of information through the Bonghan channels. The idea that acupuncture channels conduct light has already been substantiated by Russian research published as early as 1991. They found that the light-conducting ability of the human body exists only along the meridians, and can enter and exit only along the acupuncture points. This finding has been confirmed by a 1992 study in the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a 2005 study in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine where moxibustion and infrared thermography were used to trace meridian pathways.” (Acupuncture Today.com)
