Living in the Rainforest

I am so lucky to be surrounded by such beauty, living in the rainforest of Tamborine Mountain. I am truely blessed. When I woke in the middle of the night, there was an owl sitting on my verandah in the moonlight. He was so calm and peaceful. He watched me and knew I was there, but he stayed and kept me company.

The priestess oracles of Lemuria and Atlantis, as well as some other early sacred sites, were known as ‘Magiratha’, or ‘Wyse Wymen of the White Owl’. Other than the White Owl, their sacred symbols were the Rowan and Oak trees, the honeybee, the blue star sapphire, and the labyrinth (often in the form of a labyrinth-cave). The labyrinth was their symbol as it represented the spiral path one must take in order to receive true wisdom.

So the owl was a symbol on the full moon to remind me of this knowledge. It relates to the Akashic Records, the knowledge of past lives and what the Higher Self knows. It is leading me to explore my past and the knowledge which is accessible now. To remind me that I know this and have worked with this knowledge. I’d like to point anyone else awakening to this to check out Maia’s blog on the Hoar Stone.
