Diary of an ebook 11 – Going Global

All along all I wanted was some figures from Xlibris to support their request to do my next two books with them but they seemed unable to supply that. Maybe its too soon. Maybe the book isn’t selling. Who knows, without the sales figures to support that, I am unprepared to commit further financial support in the project. Despite telling them in writing and on the phone, they seem unable to get the message.

I decided that I’d try to generate more traffic to my blog site myself. Part of the promotional package was to do this, but anyway it can’t hurt to generate more traffic, so I signed up to VoxSEO webtraffic today. They have a free trial for a week then 4 weeks at a paid rate.

Two days into the program and I’m getting 1900 viewers to my site/day. Wow, I’m absolutely staggered. This should be sending sales up. If not, something’s wrong. I also took bookmarks along to Lyza’s full moon meditation on Sat. night at Carrara and distributed some to the networking group I was in. So I’m mixing traditional and non-traditional book promotion. I still haven’t had a launch and I don’t think I will now. The time has passed and the new age is upon us. On Saturday I saw the wave of energy that’s coming. Its almost here.
